The Wheels on the Bus …are Transporting Party Central!! G-Shock and Baby-G takes its own brand of endurance partying to Wakestock On the 11th and 12th July 2009, G-Shock and Baby-G took their famous party bus to Wakestock Festival in North Wales where they set up camp back stage to entertain the VIPs in their inimitably tough style! At Wakestock, the bus became party central for the performers. With its bar and DJ booth, it is perfect for VIPs to hideaway from the rest of the festival. Spotted entering the bus’s exclusive doors this year were the likes of The Noisette’s, Moby, The Twang and American emo band Elliot Minor. Helmed by Jeremy Darvill and Phil Martin from Arrowscore, the revamped vintage double decker bus has travelled the length and breadth of the country to promote G-Shock’s tough and durable credentials, and entertain the A listers, at major sporting and music festivals. The unmistakeable bus boasts G-Shock’s shock resistant watches set into each of its wheels and even after tens of thousands of miles, lots of mud, and plenty of all night partying sessions, the watches are still working to the exact second! The bus has had a busy summer, taking the G-Shock and Baby-G message of durability and toughness throughout the UK and stopping off at such other festivals as Boardmasters in Newquay. Once again, it proved that for any VIPs backstage looking for a venue to party all day and all night, the unrelenting G-Shock bus is the only place to be. The Noisette’s sporting their G-Shock and Baby-G watches, with singer Singhai Shonwai demonstrating the pretty tough credentials of the BG-3000.
